Kansai Noguchi
Born in 1982 in Fukuoka, Japan, Kansai Noguchi mainly creates potted vases, prints, ink paintings, and abstract objects. Inspired by the works of Isamu Noguchi, Kansai decided to pursue visual arts and chose pottery as his medium. In 2016, he established his own studio.
Drawing inspiration from the elegance and simplicity of Japanese design, he effortlessly combines forms and materials reminiscent of ancient Jomon, Greek, and Mehrgarh pottery. Embracing the spirit of mid-century modern aesthetics, the Kansai Noguchi Studio has become synonymous with exquisite pottery.
