Philanthropy
What is the Rose Crosby Philanthropic Mission?
Each month Rose Crosby donates 5% of company profits to a select organisation or charity. Building a company fortified by its commitment beyond the traditional bottom line is central to our mission, making it imperative that we focus on the empowerment of others, provide for those in need, and give a voice to the voiceless. Every cause donated to is one that we believe needs attention, and every dollar, euro, peso or dirham aids in facilitating this.
How does it work?
Rose Crosby rotates monthly giving to three charities that the company truly believes in. This opportunity to give back is one of the most important components to the identity of the company, and thus extensive thought and consideration was given to their careful selection.
Which organisations are they?
A21 – Human slavery is on the rise. In fact, more people are enslaved now than at any point in history. A21 is working on the grounds across several nations to rescue those who have been trafficked, including men, women, and children, as well as equip others to help combat it in the future.
International Rescue Committee (IRC) – Focused on aiding people facing humanitarian crises for causes ranging from war to famine, the IRC enables refugees and asylum seekers to find resources and safety in times of extraordinary circumstances.
Charity Water – Hundreds of millions of people worldwide lack the most basic human necessity, water. Lack of clean drinking water has led the most destitute places to face unnecessary diseases and are often faced with dangerous or precarious situations to obtain it. Charity Water works globally to provide locally-led, sustainable solutions through community-owned water projects.
