Sustainability is an ever-pressing issue and each small adaptation that can be woven into the fabric of everyday life is a contribution to a sustainable future. This notion is fundamentally at the core of Rose Crosby – a curated, edited platform to invest in exceptional design products that have been consciously and sustainably created.
Limiting Our Footprint
Consumerism and sustainability shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. To accomplish intrinsic sustainability, we first deconstructed the traditional way in which we shop to then establish the Rose Crosby brand DNA and our subsequent policies. Establishing a made to order model with all of our forthcoming partnerships was a central component to this endeavour, and means that nothing is wasted. Every order is made specially for you, our esteemed customers. This limits at least one trip for each item ordered, because instead of going from the point of manufacture to us and then to the consumer, it goes directly from the brand to your doorstep. All materials we utilise within our own office space for correspondence and branding materials are also sustainably made from recycled and natural materials.
Just as we believe who you surround yourself with in life is important, so is it in business, and thus our partnerships are a central component to how we try to operate as sustainably and ethically as possible. The provenance of the origins, craftsmanship, and materials of the products purchased are being questioned by more and more consumers globally. Through the prioritisation of brand partnerships, we're able to sell products that reflect these elements and are defining factors of some of the products themselves. Brands that are utilising consciously considered materials, whether responsibly sourced, upcycled, or innovated, should be championed. This, in turn, means consciousness of the environmental, human, and animal impact of each brand that we curate.
